Title I Contacts

  • As Director of Federal Programs, Amy Wright manages Title I, Title II, Title IV, Consolidated Funds and ESSR. She also supports leaders in utilizing data to drive their planning and support for student success through school improvement plans. Her role also involves monitoring federal program requirements, budgets and maintaining compliance, along with working with the Georgia Department of Education, Cognia, and the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement.

“Educators remind students to keep trying and learning, yet we tend to forget that for ourselves. We must model for children what we expect. Growth is the result of learning, so school improvement is the path. I want to help schools keep that path open and accessible for all students and teachers.”

Amy grew up in Augusta, Georgia. She has 18 years in education. Many of those years were spent as Assistant Principal at Gum Spring Elementary in Jackson County. She received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Master of Education in Instructional Technology for Design and Development from the University of Georgia.
